Former President Bill Clinton granted ABC News an interview in recent days. During his session with Kate Snow the former President said, “I’m not a racist!” Some supporters and critics questioned his racial sensitivity during his wife’s run for The Oval Office. Clinton’s words were scrutinized further when South Carolina Congressman James Clyburn told the former President to “Chill”. Clyburn, the House Majority Whip, made the comments following the South Carolina Primary Elections. Clinton likened The Obama victory to Jesse Jackson’s South Carolina win’s in the 1980’s when he ran for The White House. More controversies followed as his wife’s race ebbed and flowed. Now, Clinton says he will wait until after the election is over to speak on the issues as they would be a distraction to the election now. Where do you stand on what Bill Clinton had to say during the Democratic Presidential race? How do you view the former President now?
