Are you tired of the news coverage of the presidential candidates? According to a Pew Research Center poll, 48 percent of those surveyed said they’re hearing too much about Democrat Barack Obama. Only 26 percent said the same about his Republican rival, John McCain. The Pew Research Center, a non partisan organization, finds Obama has appeared in more news stories this year and more people say they have heard more about him than McCain.  At the same time, nearly four in 10 said they’ve been hearing too little about McCain.  The nation’s first elected black governor, Doug Wilder, says, “I don’t think it is over saturation. I think it is the phenomenon…The real question is, why is it considered too much?”  Wilder currently is the Mayor of Richmond, Virginia.

Convention delegates for Hillary Clinton are looking to nominate her for President in Denver in a few weeks.  Senator Clinton admits she is working with the Democratic Party in hopes of being the Obama running mate.  But she wants her delegates to feel they had a role in the process.  Clinton wants thier voices heard and for them to let out the “pent up desires.”   She made those statements at a videotaped Unity event.   The idea is not sitting well within party leadership.  Democratic strategist Donna Brazile contends the Clinton supporters can wear thier Hillary buttons at the convention “until hell freezes over!”

Would the Clinton supporters further divide the party?  And, should Hillary Clinton be considered as a running mate for Obama?
