President Obama’s first 100 days in the White House is now history. Day 101 was sobering as President Obama announced the bankruptcy of American automaker, Chrysler to be coupled with plant closings. The Obama administration believes there is still hope for the financially strapped car maker. Italian automaker Fiat is aligning with Chrysler for a new fleet of cars. Activist and comedian Dick Greggory looked at the ailing American Car industry, President Obama’s first 100 days, the low plane fly over, and the Swine flu outbreak.

Great interview, April!

April,
I don’t know how or why you did it, but you found my all time favorite Activist. I love Dick Gregory and I can sit and listen to him all day. He speaks with a common sense unlike any other, and it is unfortunate we don’t get an opportunity to hear from him more often. I commend you for doing the interview and posting it on your site.
Dick Gregory is able to have you look beyond what you’re really seeing, while making it plain. He said, its one thing to be sick, its another thing to be scared to be sick!!!!!” The Status Quo has not face challenges of this magnitude ever before, and so there will definitely be a change in healthcare now because its hitting them, and making them nervous.
All too often, and I fall in that same category we get caught up with all the mainstream media “Talking Heads”. We end up missing the forest for the trees. Dick Gregory has a way of slamming your head into that tree so you can open your eyes and know when the next one is coming up. He is dead on, and again you were great for doing the interview.
