Convention Season: The Black Vote Sweet Spot

It’s convention season, and politicos and politicians are making their rounds. The practice is continuing of  courting specific groups and the black vote during an election year, particularly in the ramp up to Presidential election.  Reince Prebius is set to address both the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and the National Urban League national conventions. Vice President Joe Biden addressed the NAACP Convention earlier this week. – Columbia, South Carolina |

This year, the Republican Party is pushing to get the attention and possibly votes from the black community after two failed GOP Presidential campaigns in which the  black vote was not largely targeted.
