The reason for the price decline; the United states is producing more oil, a light sweet crude. Also part of the equation, Americans are consuming less oil with increasing numbers of fuel efficient cars. National Economic Advisor Jason Furman explains why –  LISTEN:

In the past, the United States relied on the imports of heavy sour crude from places around the world, such as Persian countries, Canada, Mexico, Kuwait, Iraq and Nigeria.

  1. Good news, prices at the pump decline! The people deserve some relief from high gas prices, joblessness, homelessness, lack of affordable healthcare, under-funded schools in lower income neighborhoods….Lawmakers pass a $1.1 trillion spending bill Saturday night….Senator Ted Cruz[Texas] and Mike Lee[Utah] object to the bill over the issue of immigration, their move did little to stop the funding measure…..Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid[D-Nev.], frustrated the conservaties, to advance two dozen nominees that Democrats hope to confirm before they lose control of The Senate next year….”This just isn”t the way to govern,”said Sen. Claire McCaskill[D-Mo], who voted no on the spending bill even though it would keep open a Boeing CO. factory in St.Louis by including money for military aircraft…..Sen. Elizabeth Warren[D-Mass.] also voted no because of objections to the Dodd-Frank provision, which would loosen a requirement that banks”push out” some of their riskiest derivatives-trading activities onto Affiliates ineligible for federal backstop programs such as deposit insurance…..Mr. McConnell and House Speaker John Boehner[R-Ohio] to vigorously challenge President Obama’s immigration executive action, next year….Please no Jeb Bush–No Mitt Romney–No Ted Cruz and not fond of Hillary Clinton for Presidential Candidates…Elizabeth Warren, Loretta Lynch,Patrick Deval, Eric Holder,Rev Jesse Jackson, San Francisco’s Mayor Harris,Michell Obama, Elijah Cummings, are just a few who would make great Presidential Candidates….More Diversity in our Government is needed to move this country into prosperity….Racism and Sexism have kept qualified people from important opportunities….Let’s Stop Unqualified Old White Men from destroying our Country….Let’s put Black Women to Lead This Country Forward, The World is too Dangerous for a all White Government.
